Fuss-free shopping at Kids by Farmers

Now here’s one of the best ideas we’ve seen for a while- the brand new Kids by Farmers store in Christchurch. Based on the results of extensive research, the brand new concept store has been designed especially for busy parents, with kids’ apparel, toys, nursery furniture and other homewares offered under one roof.

The comprehensive research included 5,000 customers providing comments and feedback about shopping at Farmers. Researchers followed up with 10 focus group sessions and 500 phone calls to discuss the findings and concept ideas.As a result of the research, the stores have wide aisles, larger fitting rooms to accommodate push chairs and plenty of seating for rest stops, all within eye shot of the kids’ play area. Located in the centre of the store and visible from all shopping aisles, the play area will feature entertainment and events for youngsters, including book-reading, face-painting, clowns, toy demonstrations and the like. GENIUS!
