Joining a
club is a great way for your child to learn life skills.
Clubs teach things like leadership skills, self-confidence and self-esteem, as well as co-operation and team spirit. In this section we will look at the more ‘traditional’ clubs in NZ – Cubs, Brownies, Scouts, Girl Guides, Sea Scouts, Girls Brigade – all of which continue to be popular with kids and parents alike.
