Clubs

 
 
Joining a club is a great way for your child to learn life skills. Clubs teach things like leadership skills, self-confidence and self-esteem, as well as co-operation and team spirit. In this section we will look at the more ‘traditional’ clubs in NZ – Cubs, Brownies, Scouts, Girl Guides, Sea Scouts, Girls Brigade – all of which continue to be popular with kids and parents alike.

Become a Brownie - a fantastic way for 7 -10 year old girls to experience new activities and form great friendships     Become a Cub - a fun club for boys aged 7 - 11 years, and a part of the scouting movement.

Sea Scouts

 

A club for girls aged 10 - 14 years, and is a part of the scouting movement.
 
  A fun club for boys aged 10 - 16 years.  Meeting new people and making friends is what Scouts is all about   Sea Scouts is an additional programme offered to Scouts aged 11 - 16 years, and has an emphasis on water-based activities.
