Mountain Buggies are fantastic!, 9 Jul, 2007

We had a Mountain Buggy for our two kids, and it was fantastic. Strong, safe and really durable - we used it for four years, and then sold it on Trade Me. I really liked the way you can choose a locked or swivel front wheel to suit what you're doing. All of the parts are really strong - the tyres, framework and fabric hardly looked used when we sold it. I'd really recommend Mountain buggies to other parents - it's a well-known reliable brand that has good re-sale value when you have finished using it.
Urban - good solid buggy, 9 Jul, 2007

We had an Urban for our wee lad, and it worked really well. It was easy to use, and get in and out of the car. I'm glad we chose a dark blue fabric, as that colour really hides the dirt! My friend had the light blue one and it showed up every mark. The only thing I didn't like about the Urban was that the storage "tray" underneath the buggy is completely open on top. I found if I was jogging, things had a tendency to bounce out. I've seen other brands of buggies which have a zippable lid on top of the tray, which I think is a better idea. HAving said that, I would thoroughly recommend the Urban Mountain Buggy to other parents. I passed mine to my sister when I was finished with it, and it's now gone through 4 chidlren and is still going strong!

We have used the single Urban MB now for 5.5years. The buggy is practical, sturdy and handles everything we seem to throw at it!
With the lockable front wheel, the buggy is fantastic both shopping at the mall and on rough terrain.
The buggy folds easily and fits nicely into the vehicle boot spaces we have used in a variety of cars.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Urban to anyone looking for a single buggy.

Mountain Bugy Urban, 11 Apr, 2008

We brought our mountain bugy off Trade Me at the end of last year while I was 8 months pregnant with number two. It came with the carry cot feature and thats what made my final descion in buying it along with the lockable fron wheel. We also brought a sk8 board for our 3 year old that attaches at the back. Our older daughter likes being able to access the use of the sk8 bord if we've been out walking and she gets a bit tired. We have also used the carry cot as a portable bassinet when we've been out visiting as its real easy to pop into the back of the car and bring it out when bubs needs a sleep.
Would highly recomend. Although I'm glad we got ours second hand as we would not have been able to afford the whole package including storm and sun covers brand new. :)
