Entertainment – what a wonderful word. It immediately invokes thoughts of family fun, enjoyment, excitement……..hey, we’re all big kids after all!

However, when you first think of entertainment, two questions generally spring to mind – how will we find the time and how much will it cost?

Most towns and cities around the country offer a wide range of activities for the whole family, with many being free of charge. From public concerts to art galleries, museums, wonderful parks and domains. Swimming pools, school and church events, public libraries, sporting activities, water sports, musical and cultural events…….the list goes on.
If you feel like sitting back and relaxing, a family movie in front of a wide screen in a state-of-the-art theatre is wonderful time-out, but so too is the whole family enjoying a DVD in the comfort of their lounge with home made popcorn for the kids……quality family time for minimal expense.
And finding time for time out?.........the pace of today’s society means it’s even more important than ever for us to make regular time for entertainment fun as a family unit. Relaxing is good for our health, and having fun together helps create special family memories.
