Discussion Board: Primary Schoolers

Hi, I am a parent of two boys doing research on those creepy crawlies - Head Lice. I am really keen to get a discussion going relating to the follow topics
- What do you know about head lice
- How does it effect your family
- What treatments are you using
- Advice for parents whose children always have head lice
- How can we manage head lice in our community
- Who's role is it to educate parents

but again, I stress garlic in ones diet, or garlic capsules crushed and rubbed into the kids hair, gets rid of them quicksmart!

When I find them I comb cooking oil through their hair (gives you an idea what they'll look like as greasy teens!). Approx 48 hrs later wash it out. If it's on a school day they just say it's gel. The lice can't hang on so end up falling out or dying. The odd comb with the lice comb is a must as well.
