daycare
I have not sent either of my boys to daycare. They have both been kindy kids, but thats a natural progression thing for school.
They love it! They have both attended the same one, the teachers there are awesome, as is the equipment and stuff!
I have been very lucky to be at home with my boys and not need daycare.

montessori
hi my to girls are in a montessori day care and they love it. its in two houses, the first is for new born to 3years and the new born to walkers have they own room but in the afternoon they do play with the older kids, when they are ready they go up to the big room, (well really its 3 parts) and then when they are 3 and up to it they go up th the second house. i find having the ages apart the little ones arent bugging the big ones and the little ones get a chance to do things with bigger ones helping
A farm for a daycare sounds fun.

Montessori
Its a wonderful method of teaching children!
I used pretty much a montessori method with my boys at home. And I continue to do so with alot of their home based learning.
There was a montessori pre school and primary school here, but it moved, I don't know where it wnet.

Playcenter
Yes, I agree, playcenter is a wonderful place. Lots of different activities for you adn your kids to do.
Then when they get older adn need to learn more socilisation skills and get ready for school, kindergarten is wonderful too.
my 4yo loves his kindy, some of the kids from there are at my older boys school now. We went to watch a parade at the school yesterday and 4yo saw some of his old kindy friends there at school. So he's quite excited that he knows them!
