Preschool art work
what do others do with their childs art work???
My son seems to bring heaps home esp from preschool. I started hanging them up on some string with pegs which lookes really cool, we cut some up to use on birthday cards he made & have posted the odd one to grandparents but still have got way too many & I just can't bear to get rid off at stage. Any ideas??

scrap book
When I was at Kindergarten my Mum made me a big scrap book from an old fridge box. All my art work was in it.
Also, its a good way to wrap presents.. the kids love to help, and to have their pictures wrapping peoples birthday and xmas pressies is cool

clear file
Hi there I put smaller pictures into clear file, they are really cheap and you can fit alot into them...I have used one as a recipie book, writting or pastin recipies onto the pages...the pictures make a cool 'border' to the recipies.
I saw an idea on tv where they selected a few 'origanals' to keep then took photos of all the others to put into a special photo album...that way you get to keep a record of their work with out all the bulk of paper! ( The Big Stuff on a Thursday night...love that programme!) I thought that was quite a good idea..
P.s. dont forget to date your artwork....it makes it all the more special when you are looking at it eighteen years later when your babies are moving out of home and you are busy reminicing...trust me I know!

Wrapping Paper
You wont have the need to buy wrapping paper now. I use the everyday paintings that aren't deemed as special. If need be at christmas time add a little bit of glitter to make them sparkle. People recieveing the gifts love them and always comment, great way to share artwork around.

Display
Hi,
I display my toddlers works of art in her play room (very small room off the lounge!!). I bought some cheap frames from the warehouse and put them on the wall dislaying the current favorite drawing!! She loves it and as it changes all the time it doesn't get boring!! Also saves pin holes all over the place!!
With the other drawings & paintings I put them in a big scrapbook and date them so we can look at them in a few years!!
