Discussion Board: Toddlers and Pre-schoolers

Hi all, I'm hoping that some of you have kids at a Kohanga out in West Auckland. I'd like to take my boy to one, but I'd prefer to take him to one for morning sessions only. Do you know of any? From 8am to 11ish he's all good, then he wants his lunch & nap - which can be up to 3 hours long! He's only just turned 2 so I don't want to overtax him, and I'm an at home Mum so it's not a daycare or time issue. Any ideas? Cheers :o)

I dont know much about the kohanga reo centres but i have been told to check out there ero reports before sending ur child to one. I recommend u check out there ero reports for any centre or kindy ur considering putting ur child into.

I've tried a few and most want my boy full-time, that's not what I'm after at the moment. So we are trying a bilingual playgroup - just started yesterday :o)

I did get a list of Kohanga though from the ministry of Education. I'll see if I can find the link still, I posted it on the old site...
