While we never stop being parents, sometimes the circumstances surrounding our parental position changes.
These changes could see us expanding our parental roles, for example becoming parental models to other children, not just our own.
Perhaps, due a relationship break-up, our parenting role has gone from a team with a partner to a solo role, facing raising a family in ways we had not expected.
In the following articles within our Parenting section, we will look at some of the issues surrounding Special Parents; our roles as parents, co-parents, role models and mentors to our children don't change, even when our circumstances do.
We hope the following information will be helpful for you and your family. Included are contact details of people you can get in touch with to take the next positive step towards solving your current parenting challenge.
Remember, at Kiwi Families we’re here to be of assistance to you as parents. If there is anything you would like to see on this website relating to Special Parenting issues, please let us know. We will do our best to source the information and place it on the website for future reference for others.
