The ghouls of Monster High are invited to Boo York City to participate in a major museum opening. Nefera de Nile™ uses the event to break up the power couple of Deuce and Cleo so that Cleo can be “pre-betrothed” to the son of a wealthy Boo York family. Her plan is almost ruined when the aristocratic “Prince of Egypt” reveals at the gala that he has led a secret life as a street performer, and has fallen for Catty Noir™! To clear her path to power and wealth, Nefera must now get Catty out of the picture, and frames her for the theft of a rare museum artefact. Catty flees to join her new friends in the Boo York underground, while her Monster High™ ghoulfriends try to clear her name. Now, together, the ghouls must travel around Boo York, from the Vampire State Building to Times Scare and with the help of their new friends to find Catty and the truth! All before Cleo’s betrothal ceremony to the wrong boy!
