The Lascal Maxi BuggyBoard™ is a universal attachment to put behind strollers/buggies/pushchairs, for toddlers or preschoolers to stand on.

I’m liking

I have a Baby City Milano buggy, which doesn’t come with extras like this, so its good to have a product I can add. It is reasonably affordable at with an RRP of $169 as the Milano buggy is significantly cheaper than other models which have their own built in baseboards.
It is robust and well constructed, and has compact minimal packaging. It is quite well designed, you can walk behind it without a problem.
It is adjustable to fit all kinds of strollers/pushchairs/buggies, with an extender kit which I needed to use.

Things that made me go hmmmm

I found it quite complex to assemble, with complicated instructions. It says on the box it is easy to assemble and doesn’t need any tools, but you will need to rustle up a coin and a ruler. I was able to do it without either of these however, as a small tool is included in the box to tighten the screws, which isn’t advertised but has been helpfully included.

Although it claims to fit 99% of pushchairs, I think the Milano might be the exception, which is a shame as it is popular in NZ. It attaches well with the extender kit, but this buggy is very large and long, and my son can just be upright while holding on to the handle, but it is a stretch. It does work though, it just looks a bit bulky extended so far out.

The conclusion

It is a good option, with good functionality but I did find it looked a bit bulky.
