This book is a lovely combination of simple and sophisticated. They story itself is simple enough for my five year old to read herself but it’s complimented by lovely detail in the pictures that makes us pause on every page. It’s sweet, funny and a weeee bit tongue in cheek. Just gorgeous.
The conclusion
My five year old has taken great joy in reading this book to her sisters and it’s currently on high circulation in our house. Highly recommended!
