Career Services is the leading independent career guidance provider in New Zealand. We provide services to a wide variety of people to enable them to make informed decisions to achieve present and future learning and career aspirations.

The Careers website contains a range of free information and resources to help you assist your children plan for life after school, make decisions about study or training, and move successfully into the workforce. All of this information is organised into one area specifically for Parents.

Talk it over

If you’d like to talk it over with a careers adviser, you can:

• Chat online at www.careers.govt.nz  – go to the foot of each page.

• Call free 0800 222 733 – Phones are open Monday to Thursday 8am to 8pm, Fridays 8am to 6pm, and on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.

• Careers Service has consultants and representatives all around NZ. Freephone to arrange an appointment.
