Feed Your Brain: 7 Steps to a Lighter, Brighter You! is the ultimate guide about keeping your brain in tip-top shape.

Delia McCabe has spent over two decades researching what the brain needs to function at it highest potential. The result is her unique 7-step plan that will help modify your eating habits. This book is set out into two sections: one very in-depth write up of the brain and what it needs, the second section is full of easy to follow recipes.

I’m liking

Since having children there are seriously some days where I feel completely brain dead. So when I was given the opportunity to review Delia McCabe’s book I jumped at it.

Now that’s not to say I digested the book in one day. It’s not one of those books. There is a lot of information to unpack and with two little ones on the heel, finding a quiet time to get into it isn’t easy!

Delia’s knowledge about what the brain needs to function properly is eye-opening and has got me thinking about the food I eat in a new light. My favourite section is the recipes they’re all easy to make and look super delicious and full of healthy flavour.

Things that made me go hmmmm

Although this book is truly interesting, sometimes my tired mind found it a little hard to digest all the information.

The conclusion

Once I was able to sink my teeth into this book I found the content to be really helpful and thought provoking.

They say ignorance is bliss and maybe it is but Feed Your Brain is a fantastic read. It allows you to make informed decisions about what you’re putting into your body, and the affect of that food on your most important muscle. All packaged in a 7-step plan to help you make the changes you need.
