Truely worthy of the name treasury, as there are some great gems to be found inside. With so many locally flavoured stories – it’s a joy to read them out to your kids each night. It will give you enough material for several weeks and the variety of illustrations is absolutely stunning. You can pick between short stories or poems, with over 200 pages covering anything from maori legends to great animal adventures. The contents pages also mention the illustrators – but at the back sadly there’s only an index of authors. Maybe in volume 5 we will see them included as well. Your whole family will love this collection.
