I’m liking
This is a great book for a child who has a new brother or sister arriving soon. It has typical Lauren Child flair to it, great humour and fabulous illustrations, and it doesn’t belittle the sense of upheaval a child might feel with the arrival of a new small person.
The conclusion
We have a baby due in a couple of weeks, and our 3 1/2 year old has been enjoying this book. I think it’s helped him process some of the things that might change with the new arrival.
I’d recommend it for anyone who is expecting a baby and wants to help their older child/ren adjust.
