One major benefit of this mag is that it’s free! Personally, I like
glossies, so I don’t enjoy the “newsprinty” look and feel of this one.
Also, I find the content to be a bit light. I prefer the Ian Grant
magazine that covers 0 to 18 as well.

I agree with the above comments, though there have been some great
budgeting articles in there recently. Newsprint just doesn’t do it for
    me!

  • Franky

Same as the two comments above…. no stand out articles that make you
want to read them. I tend to get distracted by the ad’s and forget to
    look at the articles!

great mag! we all love free stuff! haha i find it awesome with
christchurch activities and places to visit! great product reviews!

  • Karaz

This mag is great it covers more than just one stage of childhood, and at an excellent price too!

  • Woodsy

I felt this was more written for Auckland parents?

  • Izzy

    Has far too many advertisements.

  • Lilmissprecious

well you can’t complain because it is free. i recon it is alright it
gives you some good advice and also advertises some good deals.
basically everybody likes free things. i advise to have a look at least

It is good that this mag is free, and there have been a couple of
articles that have been helpful / interesting, but I do prefer the
    glossy, standard size magazines.

  • Myrrah

this is great, and its free! Lots of up to date info and interesting reads

i get mine from Plunket and its ok for a free mag. its black and white an print does not last that long

  • Newlynn

I have seen these at Plunket centres but dont really like this free
newspaper. I would like to see it not as cheap newsprint.

Its nice to have somthing for free. i know its not mag type but
newsprints but good ideas and discussion. I like the advertisment
sections with what new to the market.

  • Ibnita

this is ok, although when youre trying to cater for tot thru to teens
it just seems a bit much. Some issues have topics of relevance to me
others do not. Would not pay for it were it not free.

When it arrives at preschool i cannot wait to get the children off to
bed so i can settle down and have a read. I always read this mag from
cover to cover, but the best part of the mag are the letters.

  • Lisagordon

its very hard to get anything free these days but i like reading this newspaper.

  • Robynsnest

I have no problem with this magazine. I find it a great read. I always look forward to picking up my next copy from Plunket.
