Gear up and get ready for New Zealand’s largest fun run, Ports of Auckland Round the Bays!
Now in its 47th year, the iconic and beautiful 8.4km waterfront walk or run is set to be bigger and better than ever, packed full of fun and entertainment, and for the first time participants can get a free event shuttle service from the finish line to the start (before and after the race).
Starting at the heart of the city in Quay St, the course contours Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour, finishing at the glorious St Heliers Bay.
As you weave your way around the course, you won’t be short of entertainment, with interactive stations and acts nearly every 600m, not to mention the end of race celebrations at Vellenoweth Green with free food, drinks, activities, and giveaways and more!
Get a team together and raise funds for a charity of your choice. If you’ve got a big group, grab a hospitality site at Madills Farm in Kohimarama to wind down and relax after the race.
All ticket sales go towards supporting the event’s three charity partners; Sea Cleaners Trust, Diabetes NZ Auckland branch and Big Buddy Mentoring Trust, who will each receive a share of $60,000 for their cause.
With more than 25,000 Kiwis expected to participate, it’s one epic day out not to be missed!
