  1. This is a very well made and structurally sound buggy with all the creature comforts to let baby have wonderful safe ride. Well worth every dollar. Easy to manouvre which is best for mum trying to get round the shops.

  2. This is another buggy we looked at while looking for a buggy when we were expecting our daughter. Even though it wasn’t what we were needing at the time we thought it was an awesome buggy. Anyone wishing to purchase one of these would be getting a great buggy.

  3. We were two very green first time parents..we didnt have a clue about anything and very little money..went to farmers and bought a steelcraft pushchair on sale for $280, whoops wrong choice!! I am a very outdoors person and walk the dog every day..rain hail or shine. The pushchair we purchased tipped easily, was extremly heavy and the rain cover covered only 3/4 of the buggy! Two months later we ended up buying a 2nd hand mountain buggy and practically gave the steelcraft away. Was the best move we as new parents made!!! They are sturdy, light weight and tough. They also keep their value quite well so you can resell. I would tell any parent to definately buy a mountain buggy. And if you are like us and many others out there that have very tight purse strings buy second hand!!! If you do go 2nd hand try to get one under 3 years old as older than this have zips (i think) to raise the back rest so you can only put it in to positions (sitting up or fully lying down).

What a fantastic buggy. I am just about to use it for my third child and I have to say it looks as good as new even though we live by the beach and it gets used pretty much daily. At 9kgs I don’t think you can get a lighter one and my 88 year old granmother still walks my 11/2 year old round the farm in it as it is easier for her than walking by herself it is so balanced. I have pushed a lot of different buggies and I have still not found one as easy to use and push as the terrain mountain buggy.

  5. Ours is a hand me down (the design is so good they still havn’t changed it) from a friend who had her three kids all use it, we had our two both use it and now a another friend is using it and it’s still pretty much like new.
Great for running with you can fit the bassinet to it.

  6. This is an excellent buggy for people with a very active lifestyle, we have the carrycot and have used it heaps. We’ve now been using the buggy for about a year and have had no problems with it. Got the handbrake which I use all the time, we take it anywhere including recently graded fire breaks, not somewhere I’d be keen to take any other buggy. My Mum even loves using it and no one finds it a struggle to turn even with my heavy boy!

  7. We are a family who just LOVE our Mountain Buggies. We bought a 2002 terrain with carrycot, shades and storm covers for both the cot and buggy and have always felt that this was one of our best baby product purchases. We chose the zip hammock and fixed wheel because we were not looking for a “supermarket trolley” but a buggy for all terrains as the name suggests this delivered. I don’t own a car so this buggy has been used every day until my DD could walk as fast as me. We were also lucky enough to inherit one of the orginal Mountain Buggy prototypes which while it doesn’t have all the bells as whistles of the newer models it is the best for our new home which is literally just around the corner from the beach. This buggy doesn’t recline but the hammock is better positioned to carry our DS 1 or our now nearly 5 year old DD. We also love the fact that Mountain Buggy have service teams at bike shops rather than baby boutiques so that the parts can often be fitted as you wait by staff who really do know what they are doing.

  8. We purchased the single Terrain Mountain Buggy for our first child 6 years ago. We sold most things, but held on to the buggy because we found it so wonderful. I have a second baby due in 8 weeks, and am thrilled we kept the buggy. It still looks like its brand new, its light, easy to fold and fit into the boot, and I could just go anywhere. Even a walk along the beach was no problem. Over all, it was great value, hard wearing, easy to clean and great to take anywhere. Highly recommended.

  9. We purchased our Single Terrain Mountain Buggy approximately 9 years ago just before our first baby was born. It was fantastic. We used it around town, on walking tracks, on the beach and it enabled both my husband and I to go jogging with baby in tow! We used it with baby number 2 as well, then my sister also used it 5 years later for her first baby. It lasted really well and we only replaced the foam on the handle and 1 tyre in all that time. We would throughily recommend the Mountain Buggy brand.
