Good news – there’s a great new show in town for the little ones at the Bruce Mason Centre these School Holidays. Enter a world of fun, colour and music with Phineas Phrog productions. This re-telling of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic is loaded with physical high jinks and toe-tapping tunes – making this madcap tale a holiday treat! Watch your kids delight in the sneaky weaver’s trick on the vain Emperor. Recommended for kids aged 3-8.

There’s plenty of parking in Takapuna and you can always head to the beach afterwards for an Autumn sandcastle building competition. Kids can also get their faces painted before or after the show ($4).
