  7. This has to be the most memorable book from when I was a child.
    Brightly coloured and teaches kids counting and the process a
    caterpillar goes through to become a beautiful butterfly. My son loves
    it too. The food he eats is also very amusing.

  10. loved this book when i was young. in fact i still have it, slightly
    chewed on edges but that just shows how much i loved it. glad i can now
    read to my daughter and hope she enjoys as much as i do. highly
    recommend 🙂

  12. This book is an old time favourite, it was read to me as a child
    and now I have the pleasure of watching my own three children indulge in
    it’s colourful pages….My children have the boxed CD set which allows
    them to sit and listen to the story being told by it’s creator…..after
    many attempts made by my youngest child to destry the pages of this
    classic, i found him his own small hardcover copy which he carries
    everywhere….I hope to continue seeing this book of colour, nature and
    life changes delighting generations to come…..

  13. My 3 year old does not tire of this story. He learns about nature,
    food and the days of the week in one absolutely stunningly illustrated
    book. You can’t get much better than this for young children. If you
    have young children, or if you are looking for a gift for a 4 year old
    and younger child, this book is highly, highly recommended. Enjoy.

    child. Now I am reading it to my own Children they both enjoy it too.

  19. I had this book when I was a littlie, and loved it. This book is still a
    firm favourite with my son who is now 4. I recommend the board book
    version for babies and toddlers. 🙂

    Lots of colours and different things. My 2 oldest boys loved the holes in the pages where the catipilar had eaten through
