I’m Liking:

How light and soft it is. I like that it is easy to put on, and to get the baby into it. I found for my 11lb (4 month old) nephew that his legs splayed too far out, but to be fair I recommend using a wrap sling with this size baby, which these guys also do. I like that it has adjustable back support height for your growing child. I didn’t keep the baby in it for very long, but could see/feel that it would be a great carrier for long periods of time. This sling can be worn front or back – which is really essential for a carrier to go the distance. It’s machine washable too which is always a bonus. It is always ready with the correct fitting as it is click and go rather than knotted into the correct size.

Things that make me go hmmm:

The only thing that I didn’t love about this sling is the colour, and as that is fairly superficial, I think I can get over it. It does come in a variety of colours and fabrics.

Extra for experts:

The biggest competition for the Nature’s Sway Pouch Pack is the Ergo, of which I am a big fan. Natures Sway has designed something lighter and smaller and a bit cheaper too. I will be recommending this pouch to clients who ask for my opinion on what pieces of kit to buy…

The conclusion:

A brilliant lightweight, yet versatile carrier for a normal sized 3 month baby onwards. It folds up small and is light. The fact that it is made in New Zealand from natural and organic fabrics AND it is reasonably priced makes this an excellent choice for the next stage sling (after the newborn wrap).
