These are a simple easy to use prefold and cover nappy system. The prefold is folded into three and then popped inside the cover.
I’m liking
I have the old style bambino mio covers, and the new ones are so much better. The covers are nice and soft and keep any wetness safely inside.
The leg gussets trap any potential spillage.
The inserts dry nice and quickly which is great over winter.
The eye part of the velcro goes all the way across the front of the nappy which means you can get a really good fit easily.
Things that made me go hmmmm
While the velcro makes for a good fit, I find it strange they haven’t fixed the bottom part of the velcro to the nappy. I find it pulls up when it’s on for a while and scratches my baby’s skin.
With prefolds and covers, you only need to change the cover when it gets dirty. For a baby like mine who as soft poos, every time he poos I have to change the cover. That means we would need quite a few covers if we used this system full time.
The conclusion
Great budget and quick drying system. This nappy is one of the better prefold and cover systems that I’ve tried.
