I‘m liking…

This is a comfortable, supportive front pack. The canvas fabric was strong and felt like it would wear well. The pack has a zip which extends the pack so that you can seat both smaller and larger babies.

The hood of the pack covered my baby well and I liked the fact that there were a number of snaps so you can adjust the level of the hood.

Things that made me go hmmm…

I had real trouble getting my baby into a comfortable position in this carrier and I always felt that she was sitting too high. This meant that she felt a bit in my way but also meant that her head sat well above the top of the carrier, so I always felt like her head was unsupported.

I’m used to undoing my carriers from the side but the buckles on this carrier were tucked into the strap and in a position that I found almost impossible to undo while I was wearing the carrier. This also meant that it was very difficult to adjust while I was wearing it.

The fabric of this carrier was quite stiff and it was reasonably bulky to carry around when I wasn’t using it.

About the Ergo Baby Carrier

In The ERGO, the baby sits in a pouch created by the body of the carrier.

The ergonomic design supports a correct sitting position for baby’s physical development and eliminates compression on baby’s spine.

The ERGO’s wide shoulder straps and waist belt distribute baby’s weight evenly, alleviating physical strain for parents. Baby’s weight is drawn in towards parent’s centre of gravity, making the baby feel lighter.

The price of the Ergo is $199 (plus $55 for the infant insert)
