If you tend to have constant back/shoulder pain and need some heat packs on hand without having to shell out a good amount of money to buy some, here is a straight forward way to make your own. It couldn’t be simpler with only two materials!
Materials:
A Pair of Socks
Rice (approx. 1 1/2 C)
Method:
Simply pour the uncooked rice into the sock and tie off sock. Use the second sock to cover – making sure the tied knot of the sock with rice in it goes in first, so the knot is completely covered in case of any spills.
And that’s it!!!
Put in the microwave for 2-3 minutes and enjoy.
Alternatively you can tie a couple of knots in between the rice to section it and therefore the rice won’t all go to one end of the sock 🙂
