It is a wonderful book to start up a discussion with your little one about friendships and the different kinds of relationships that people have.
My little one and I loved the illustrations by Gwynneth Jones. She did a wonderful job at bringing the characters’ emotions to life. We spent a lot of time talking about all the different ways the characters were feeling.
Conclusion
Patch and Ruby is a heart warming read where you see old and new friendships develop. This is a beautiful book to have in your collection and one that my daughter comes back to read time and again.
