Storebought flavoured yoghurts can be laden with sugar or sweeteners, and many other additives.  You can avoid these things by simply making your own yoghurt off a starter culture, or buying a natural unsweetened yoghurt and flavouring it yourself.

Ingredients:

  • Two tablespoons of mixed, fresh berries
  • OR two tablespoons of other fruit such as apple or pear puree or mashed banana.
  • Three tablespoons of natural, unsweetened yoghurt

Method:

Puree the fruit if it looks too lumpy, or mash well.  Stir through the yoghurt and serve.
