I’m liking

Generally, I thought it was comfortable, easy to put on and adjust, and it has the little safety loops in case the buckles came undone. It was lighter and more compact for storage, I also liked the zip in the body that makes it shorter for small babies and the fact it was organic and made in NZ.

Things that made me go hmmm…

Having been to the Wellington Baby wearing sling meet where I learnt all the basics, I didn’t think my baby was high enough in it, even in the frog position (legs down and bent like a little frog). When I tried to put him in with his legs straddling my body he was lower still, and that was even with the zip done up to make it shorter.

I also didn’t like where the buckles sat on the shoulder straps, they were right on my boobs and rubbed quite a bit. The fabric was lighter than other carriers; I’d describe this is cotton, rather than canvas.

The lack of pockets was annoying, I find I can’t use my pants pockets when wearing a soft structured baby carrier, as the waist/hip belt sits on top of them and carrying a bag is problematic as the shoulder straps make my bags fall off, so having somewhere to put keys, wallet and cellphone is important.

The Natures Sway Pouch Pack is an exceptionally hardy baby carrier, designed to be used with your baby as it develops during its first three years of life. While predominantly a front or back carrier, it can be rearranged for use as a side-carry – meaning it has not only a large age-range but also incredible versatility. The Pouch Pack is designed to keep your baby close to your centre of gravity, enabling you to carry even a toddler for long periods of time! The ergonomic design makes the carrier feel like another item of clothing, allowing you to cosy up to baby unhindered.
